THINGS TO AVOID
Certain foods can be toxic to your African grey Parrot. Some that we will list here can lead to death; avacado, chocolate, tomato leaves, vines and stems, coffee or caffiene, alcohol, dried beans, pits or seeds of many fruits, rhubarb, high fat foods, high sugar foods, high salt content foods, mushrooms, onions, nutmeg, and peanuts. You should also avoid cooking with non-stick cookware, as the gases emitted can be toxic. Second hand smoke, heated surfaces, open flame, standing water, scented or chemical products, ceiling fans, open and swinging doors, electrical cords, and other pets can also be hazardous.
